The Blue Wildflower

2024
Acrylic and mixed media on canvas
36 x 36 in.

In the forest, I came across a small, delicate blue wildflower. Its petals had been torn by wind and rain, yet its center still stood tall, facing the world. I felt moved to praise it through tears. It reminded me of the Earth, solitary in the vastness of space as I once saw it—or perhaps of myself, living all this time without ever truly knowing the world beyond.
